The Cambridge

Primary School

Since our inception in 2018, The Cambridge has grown in more ways than one. We've evolved in shape and spirit, responding to the ever-changing needs of our dynamic community. We proudly stand as a school where community is prioritised; where the bonds between home and school are at the very heart of our educational journey.

“Pupils respect and celebrate differences. They enjoy learning about each other’s faiths and beliefs.” [Ofsted, Sept 2022]

At The Cambridge, we understand that each child is unique, and we celebrate these differences. While we maintain consistency and provide clear expectations and boundaries for the children in our care, our commitment to flexibility, inclusivity and learning experiences are forefront.

“Pupils are proud of their vibrant and welcoming school.” [Ofsted, Sept 2022]

We take immense pride in our journey of growth and transformation, and it's not just us - our children share in this pride too. They welcome visitors and newcomers with open arms, warmth, humour and a profound sense of belonging. Our commitment to fostering strong friendships and a deep sense of pride within our students is unwavering. We envision our students leaving The Cambridge not only with a rich, purposeful education but also with lasting friendships and an unshakeable sense of self-worth.

“Teachers adapt learning to excite and engage pupils, helping them to make progress and remember more of the curriculum.” [Ofsted, Sept 2022]

Education is the cornerstone of our philosophy. We are dedicated to providing your child with the best possible start on their educational journey while equipping them with the skills and resilience necessary to thrive in this modern world. Our goal is to instil a deep love for learning, bolster their confidence, and nurture a sense of security as they prepare for their futures.

“There is a culture of vigilance across the school.” [Ofsted, Sept 2022]

Safeguarding is not just a priority for us, all staff are committed to ensuring safeguarding extends beyond the physical safety of our students; it encompasses their emotional and mental well-being as well. We provide a nurturing environment where open communication is encouraged, ensuring that each student feels safe to express themselves and seek support when needed.
