Pupil Premium

Pupil premium is a grant given to schools to help close the attainment gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers. We use this funding to improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged pupils, ensuring they have the support they need to achieve their full potential. We receive this funding for pupils who are eligible for free school meals, looked-after children, previously looked-after children, and children with parents in the regular armed forces (known as the service premium).

Our approach

High-quality teaching is at the heart of our approach, with a focus on areas in which disadvantaged pupils require the most support. Our strategy also includes targeted academic support and wider strategies to support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural needs. You can read our full pupil premium strategy statement to find out more.

If you think your child may be eligible for pupil premium funding, please contact the school office.
